Impact, a woman-owned business, is led by Meghan Cox and enlists a global network of public affairs strategists and operatives. Meghan and her team have led public engagements across all 50 states as well as the United Kingdom and the Philippines.

MEGHAN COX

One of the nation’s leading experts in ballot initiative access and strategy, Meghan has managed political campaigns and ballot access efforts in all 50 states as well as the United Kingdom and the Philippines. A detail- and action-oriented public affairs strategist, she plays an active role in the firm’s success as CEO of the Impact Advisory Group.

Over the past two decades, Meghan has directed political and grassroots campaigns for a range of corporate, trade association and governmental clients, including Americans for Clean Coal Electricity, Hard Rock, Seminole Tribe of Florida, eBay, StubHub, The Navajo Nation, Philip Morris International, British American Tobacco, the National Restaurant Association and the National Realtors Association. She also has led the paid field campaigns for notable political candidates, including Senator John McCain, Senator Dan Sullivan and President George W. Bush.

Whether the situation at hand is the need to get on the ballot, a must-win political campaign, or the need to quell a corporate crisis, Meghan has been there and done it all for two decades and counting.

Meghan has received numerous awards and recognitions, including Phoenix Business Journal’s Women in Business, Phoenix Business Journal’s 40 under 40, AAPC 40 Under 40, and In Business Magazine Woman in Achievement. She is active in the community and serves on the Arizona Developmental Disability Council as well as on the board for Phoenix Theatre Company and Empowered Theatre for the Arts. She has served on the boards of Valley Leadership, the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Foundation and Detour Company Theatre.

Meghan splits her time between Phoenix, Arizona and Washington D.C. and enjoys spending time with her rescue Shih Tzu Pepper and poodle Coco.

MATTHEW COHEN

Matthew is an expert in corporate and political campaigns with 14 years of experience in the industry, during which he’s managed campaigns and ballot access efforts in 35 states. As Executive Vice President of Impact Advocacy Group, he manages all aspects of projects for our diverse range clients.

Matt was at another consulting firm from 2015-2020, developing and executing large scale national grassroots campaigns for numerous political clients. The teams he led canvassed over 7 million doors with Matt at the helm, playing a key role in the recruiting, training, and development of Field Managers and Professional Political Operatives alike.

Matt has previously worked on Chris Christies’ 2013 reelection campaign in New Jersey and for the RNC. He is an Alumnus of the class of 2018 EA Morris Fellowship, a member of the Public Affairs Council, and was recognized in 2023 as one of the American Association of Political Consultants “40 under 40”. In 2023 he joined the advisory board of the East Carolina University Center for Survey Research.

He resides in Raleigh, North Carolina and can answer any questions you may have about his hound dog Beauregard or the Petite Basset Griffon Vendéen breed.

SAMUEL WRIGHT

Sam brings over a decade’s experience handling campaigns for political and corporate clients alike. He has overseen a range of efforts from local targets to national advocacy. He drives the successful execution of the strategic initiatives Impact Advocacy Group crafts for our clients.

Before he joined the Impact Advocacy Group as Managing Director, Sam worked at the nation’s premier digital-first political agency executing data-driven activation campaigns. He also worked with HBS+, and he served on the staff of the chairman of the Missouri Senate Appropriations Committee and in the Senate Majority Whip’s office.

Sam is an avid cook and fitness enthusiast and travels the world when he is not working to deliver wins for our clients.

BROOKE REINSCH

Brooke is a political strategist and government affairs professional with a strong track record of success. She began her political career as a lobbying intern, working for two years with Husch Blackwell Strategies where she monitored hearings, spearheaded reporting, and assisted with campaign financing.

Brooke is now a valued member of the Impact Advocacy Group team, helping our clients navigate complex policy issues and achieve their advocacy goals through her expertise in government affairs and her commitment to delivering results.

In 2022, Brooke was recognized as a Missouri Times 30 Under 30 honoree, an award that celebrates young leaders who are making a significant impact in the political field.

Brooke currently resides in Jefferson City, Missouri.
